Overview: Set Your Flames opens with coconut and rum in a warm, slightly boozy tropical combination, creamy and restrained rather than synthetic. Tobacco enters and transforms the composition considerably, adding dark, slightly smoky richness that contrasts beautifully with the sweet coconut and rum. Tonka bean bridges the sweet and dark elements while Chinese cedarwood adds a dry, woody depth. Oakmoss in the base provides an earthy, vintage quality and real longevity. As an Extrait, expect 10 or more hours. Fall and winter, best in the evening. An excellent introduction to the Nishane Fan Your Flames aesthetic for those new to the house.
