Overview: Aoud Intense Bleu opens with cardamom, mandarin, and olibanum in a spiced citrus accord that is simultaneously bright and resinous, with a slightly ceremonial quality from the olibanum. The heart deepens through labdanum, myrrh, amber, and opoponax, building considerable warmth and balsamic depth. Agarwood defines the character throughout, dark, slightly smoky, and woody. Styrax and benzoin in the base extend the longevity considerably. As an Extrait, expect 12 or more hours. Suits all seasons and formal occasions. An excellent introduction to the Fragrance Du Bois aesthetic at a fraction of the cost.
